Main Purpose of Job:

Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations within the care setting, including recruiting and managing staff, managing budgets and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets national care standards.

Main Tasks of Job:

• have overall responsibility for the health and safety of people using the service and the staff providing the support • be responsible for promoting the rights of people using the service, and safeguarding them against harm • be involved in the selection and recruitment of staff. You’d also be responsible for managing and developing your team, arranging training and providing regular supervision • get to know the people using the service well. You would need a good understanding of their illness, disability or support needs so your team can offer the right care • provide information, advice and support to people using the service, their families and carers • develop good working relationships with carers, families, health professionals and other agencies • create opportunities for people using the service to contribute to the local community and access local services The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation

Main Purpose of Job:

To provide first line management and lead a small team of support staff. They will be responsible for ensuring all current and newly referred individuals receive high-quality, person-centred supports

Main Tasks of Job:

• Ensure rotas are in place to meet contracted hours of provision and effectively support the individual • Ensure records of support provision are accurately maintained • Ensure weekly returns are completed and sent to the appropriate section • Implement and monitor service systems according to policy and Procedure • Provide direct supervision to support staff • Provide on-site coaching and mentoring to staff • Lead staff in writing, implementing and reviewing support plans which reflect the interests and wishes of the individual • Identify staff training needs and plan to meet these in conjunction with the Team Manager • To work on shift as agreed per service, providing direct support to the individual • Promote and support inclusion throughout the service, identifying and discussing employment and leisure opportunities in the community • Facilitate Person Centred Planning as required The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation

Main Purpose of Job:

To provide care and other tasks as specified User’s individual service/care plan, to a high standard in accordance with Company policies and Procedures.

Main Tasks of Job:

• Assisting with personal care including; bathing, washing, shaving, oral hygiene and hair care, dressing, undressing and assist with all toilet and continence requirements. Ensuring that Service Users have given their consent prior to any examination, care, treatment or support taking place and that all Service Users are treated with respect. • General light domestic duties including laundry and ironing. • Assisting with the cooking of light meals, preparing snacks and the provision of beverages. • Carrying out tasks as specified in the Service User’s individual service/care plan, taking action to enable the Service User to carry out as much self-care and other activities as possible. • Helping with handling the service users’ money in respect of collecting pensions and the payment of bills including shopping. Ensuring accurate and up to date records are kept. • Assisting with pet care, including feeding and walking. • Transporting service users to local amenities and to medical appointments. • Contributing to accurate and detailed record keeping whilst maintaining the Service. • Contribute to the team effort.
